I wrote a whole post about how the world perceives Pakistan but then i felt like i could not possibly write down all the things i found wrong in that perception, so i pushed one button and it all disappeared. And as all the words i had written just vanished from the screen i wondered what if all we do, all memories of us are deleted from this world, meaning that people who remember us, they leave the world too. And all memory of our existence vanish, then what is life?

It is a strange question, one that definitely scares each and everyone. Years from now, people will not know who i am, and they seriously would not care. Like today a man's body is found at an archaeological dig, they study him but who cares what he was, no one today would wonder what he thought or what he believed. One day maybe we will be like that, and probably our skeletons would not be found either. And our very essence will stop to exist. No matter who we are, a big celebrity, a big business tycoon, even royalty. It does not matter, it has no significance, sooner or later all of us who exist at the moment will be forgotten, and will cease to exist even in memory. 

So all we do in this world is meaningless, no matter how much we earn, how famous our name gets, it does not even matter if we make a great, life altering discovery. For sooner or later it will all lose its meaning, does anyone remember the name of the man who discovered fire, or the man who made the first wheel? No, for history and time have erased them like everything will be erased.

Does this mean that we stop trying to change the world, or try to play our part. All i think this means is that nothing in this world lasts forever, not fame and definitely not money. Everyone races against time and others to earn more, to get more fame but for what? Is it going to go with us when we die, the name, the fortune? Is it going to be known to mankind till the end of time? That we sure know does not happen so all the things we sacrifice, we give up to gain these things, are they really worth it? The lies, the cheating, the bribery that we do to make us famous and rich, is it getting us anywhere?

I do not say that we should give up on the world, or that we should stop trying to achieve things but maybe going out of our way is a little to much. I guess i am just rambling, maybe all i just wrote sounds like a load of crap. But is makes sense to me, or maybe its because i have not slept all night and now my eyes hurt:D
